RYA Community Award for Outstanding Contribution – awarded to Cpl Simon Horsfield

Cpl Simon Horsfield has been notified that he has been awarded an RYA Community Award for Outstanding Contribution and will be invited to receive his award at a ceremony in London later in the year, usually attended by a Royal. These are the MBE’s of the sport. A much deserved award for his continued support to the ASA at all levels, across all disciplines in BFG and UK.

This is truly an outstanding award for Cpl Simon Horsfield who is the BA(G) coach and powerboat training and he works at the Mohnesee Sail Training Centre, he will return to the UK in August this year and work at the AISTC at Thorney Island. Cpl Horsfield's email address isĀ
