The Army Inshore Sail Training Centre is situated on Thorney Island in the heart of Chichester harbour, approximately 8 miles from Portsmouth. It is the Army’s home for Dinghy sailing, Kitesurfing, Powerboating and Windsurfing. We are a recognised RYA Training Centre, delivering civilian qualifications from beginner to instructor level, which are globally recognised. Courses are open to all serving regular and reservist personnel. We have a wide range of modern and up to date equipment, plus accommodation for up to 24 students.
